The DataFax software comes with an extensive documentation set:
- Study Planning Guide:
this guide is designed to assist study managers with pre-study planning,
DataFax implementation, and DataFax study management
- DFsetup User Guide: provides a step by step guide to
creating a new DataFax study using the DFsetup application
- iDataFax User Guide: designed for all DataFax users, this guide
provides complete instructions for using all iDataFax features
- Standard Reports Guide: this guide includes synopses and detailed
descriptions of all standard DataFax reports
- Programmer Guide: this guide describes the underlying building
blocks, tools, file formats, command line utilities and executables needed to
create edit checks, custom reports, and executable scripts
- System Administration Guide: designed for both IT and study managers,
this guide describes how to configure and manage a DataFax
installation from beginning to end
- CRF Library: this FrameMaker document includes samples of field
layouts in various formats, as well as complete case report
forms that can be used as examples
- Study Setup Worksheets: this document provides checklists and
instructions that will ensure all study setup steps have been addressed
- Acceptance Test Kit:
functional tests to demonstrate that DataFax is operating as expected.
Each document is distributed on the DataFax installation CD,
and is also available on-line to our clients, in the following formats:
- PDF, Adobe's Portable Document Format,
- HTML, for easy on-line browsing, and
- Windows HTML Help for local viewing from a Windows PC.
