Dear DataFax Colleagues and Clients:

DF/Net Research Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of all rights to the DataFax data management software from Clinical DataFax Systems, Inc.  We would like to thank Wayne Taylor for this opportunity to continue his vision, and wish him the best in his well‐earned retirement.

Going forward, DF/Net will continue to develop, license, and support DataFax software and services with the same high level of commitment and responsiveness that has made DataFax a popular choice for over 23 years.

Functionally, there will be no difference in your use of DataFax or your existing relationships with the people involved.  Support and development will continue in Hamilton with the long-standing DataFax development team, all of whom have been retained and are hard at work on the next release.  We will also be drawing from the extensive study and clinical trial experience of the Seattle group, in order to offer well‐rounded and comprehensive solutions for your data management needs.

Our long relationship with CDSI, dating back to the initial development of DataFax, makes this a natural fit.  The synergy of the two companies not only provides for long‐term financial stability, but will also serve to energize DataFax for the future.   By combining the people who develop DataFax with the people who directly use it, we hope to expand DataFax to  meet the evolving needs of researchers worldwide.

Our first priority is to existing DataFax users, and we hope to make the transition as smooth as possible.  Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions that you may have, now or in the future, about your existing needs or other ways in which we may be of service.  We look forward to working with you, and we hope you will be able to join us at the next DataFax User Group Meeting, planned for later this year.

Best regards,

 Lisa Ondrejcek
